Energyville
If the transition to cleaner energy were simple, we’d have done it by now. The truth is, transitioning from legacy energy sources to things like wind and solar is a complicated and difficult endeavor that's equally difficult to explain. So, instead of explaining it, we let people experience it.
We partnered with the creators of Sim City to create Energyville, a city-building game that puts players in charge of managing a modern power grid. Will you invest in solar or wind? How will you balance clean energy with affordability and citizen happiness? Can you grow your city while reducing emissions?
Advisors help you make decisions about what and where you build different energy sources.
You’ll hear from concerned citizens. Will you listen to them and help, or ignore them as you build toward a bigger goal and risk your approval rating?
Invest in different technologies to unlock better, more efficient energy sources. And sign different policies into law. Will you force businesses to only use renewable energy at the risk of them moving to a different city? Start an energy buy-back program? Require all municipal busses to be fully electric?
